My sincere comments:
The mallu touch on hindi words can be tracked easily. (Vakkukal pidichu pidichu padunnu). Its the same for male voice too... Else its OK..

Good one.. Regarding mallu accent, i think that is absolutely fine. if north indians can sing malayalam songs in their accent, we can sing hindi songs in our own accent. Accents are part of a culture, there is nothing wrong in it or to be ashamed of as long as landing, pitching, ragam , thalam(and all other things MG and Annachi tells in Star singer :)) are fine !!!
